The park has access to high quality research platforms with unique technology in the country. The scientists that carry out the projects work within the areas of Biotechnology, Nanotechnology, Food and Nutrition, Fine Chemistry, Biopharmacy and Pharmaceutical Technology, Environmental Analysis, and Bioanalytics.

Pando Technology Pole is the first knowledge builder to which PCTP is linked, and is placed on the same site as the park. Depending on the characteristics and the specific nature of the project, the research will be carried out on the scientific platforms of the PTP or on other platforms specially selected for the project.

The projects of the companies located in PCTP are mainly developed by the professionals of Pando Technology Pole. Since 2001, Pando Technology Pole works under the scope of the School of Chemistry of the University of the Republic in the research and development of chemicals and biotechnological products. From its inception, it is engaged in the creation and improvement of products and processes that have a direct impact on the quality of life.
